Rumor has it that you have been saying great things about us, and we appreciate it! Keep spreading the word about how much you love us, and for every three referrals you send us you will receive $50 off of your next haircut or color service. In order for this to work, though, when the new person comes in they need to tell us your first and last name. We want you to get the credit you deserve, but we can’t do it if the person doesn’t remember who referred them. So go ahead and tell your mailman, your manicurist, and your favorite barista all about us, but make sure they know your name.
Thanks for loving Wak Shack Salon – now get out there and talk about us!
*The reward cannot be used with any other salon promotion.

In the Bumble & bumble line there are three aerosol sprays – Classic, Does It All, and Spray de Mode. While they each are fantastic, they have subtle differences that you should take into consideration when choosing which one to use.
The strongest hold is Classic, so when Filomena needs an aerosol spray with the most hold she chooses the can of red. In addition to its holding power, Classic adds a subtle sheen, but the hair still maintains its softness.
Adam is all about Spray de Mode. If crunchy hairsprays are getting you down he suggests that you choose this one. It gives hair a healthy shine, but still allows your hair to move. Claudia also likes this purple can of wonder because it is a great finishing spray for hold and shine and helps with fly-aways. Spray de Mode also offers heat protection and can be layered and layered.
Filomena says Does it All says it all. She likes that it can be used to create a sleek ponytail when sprayed in close proximity to the hair. This blue can is also great as a setting tool because it’s a workable spray that has a soft hold and won’t flake. Heather agrees uses it for round brush blow drys, curling irons, and then she likes to finish with it by piecing out the ends of the hair to show texture. Despite being a lightweight spray, it will still build volume as you layer it on.
Experiment with them and discover which one you like best for your ‘do.

For those people who don’t think styling hair is a form of art, let me tell you about Sydney Guilaroff. Sydney was one of the first recognized and praised stylists for MGM studios and numerous movie stars off the studio set for more than forty years. He turned a blonde Lucille Ball into a famous redhead, popularized Judy Garland’s braids, and gave a distinct bob and bangs to Claudette Colbert; Sydney was a craftsman, artist, and visionary who dared to push the limits. During his career he styled hair for over a thousand movies such as Ben Hur, The Philadelphia Story, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and Some Like It Hot. The movie that was probably the most challenging and exciting for him to work on was Marie Antoinette, which required 2000 court wigs, some complete with actual birds in cages, and 3000 lesser wigs for extras. Sydney’s masterpieces should definitely take your breath away as they live on forever in the classic films.

Among Bumble & bumble’s products, there are three that are great for structure – Thickening Spray, Styling Creme, Styling Lotion. Three of our stylists have personally professed their love for these products. Stop in the salon and fall in love with Bb products!
Dear Thickening Spray,
I love that you are great for making three strands of hair look like five. You inflate any style weightlessly with sass, and just like San Francisco natives, you hate the heat – medium temperature is all you can handle.
Love, Kisses, and Big Hair,
CJ
Dear Styling Creme,
I love that you are great for keeping blow drys in place with hold and structure, especially when I am drying a bob. I also love your “crosscentration” abilities to intermix with any product to give it enhanced hold.
I love you,
Adam
P.S. I heard men love you, too.
Dear Styling Lotion,
I love to use, use, and use you – it’s never too much! You give just enough grip for my round brush blow drys to come out smooth and frizz-free. Soft bounce and hold is what you always offer to me. You are everyone’s best friend!
Love always,
Your best friend – Sara
